A sunflower is a very smart flower
It doesn't hang its head
On days that are cloudy
It searches the sky for the sun instead

If the sun is behind a cloud
in the middle of the day
A sunflower will keep looking
for that sun ray

When there is no sun
It doesn't lay down and go to sleep
A sunflower knows
the sun is up there somewhere
It doesn't give up and weep

Just knowing the sun is there
can give you imposing power
It won't always be cloudy
Look up, stand tall
Be like a Sunflower
