Oh, how we are destined for failure
When multiple tasks are faced
To think we must do it all at once
So we do it all in haste

Mistakes are made, when hurried
Or we forgot an important part
Then time lost, for sure
The whole thing we must restart

Just a little, step by step
We will not face a fall
Some look at, everything to do
Then do nothing at all



Overwhelmed and discouraged
Can bring your life to a halt
But, just to do, one thing
Will achieve a better result

One day at a time, is all it takes
To do our very best ...
Even the Lord took six days to create
The seventh day was for rest

So, slow down, there's still tomorrow
For things, you must do
