Mouse Doodle 2

A man, I met
On a sunny day
He was amazing
In a special way

For in his home
Made of ivory keys and wood
In the front room
A piano, stood

Beautiful furniture
As there, it stands
But it only comes alive
With special hands

Not everyone has
Hands, such as these
Floating, graceful as a swan
Across the keys

His eyes closed
As if, lost in each note
Upon the ivory and ebony
I saw his hands, float

Not just any tune
Giddy or sweet
But he brought the piano alive
And made its heart beat

The music had depth
With substance and feeling
It can soothe a troubled mind
With calming and healing

As I sat and listened
He gave my heart a lift
For this man is blessed
With a wonderful gift

Ah, yes ...
If only I could play the piano
Just like this
It would keep my spirit
In perpetual bliss

But I cannot play
I can only share
Within these words, what I felt
As I was listening, there
