What is this I see
A magnificent stairway
I cannot hesitate, to climb
At the top awaits, a heavenly buffet

God has sent an invitation
And offers a seat at His table
It's a place of comfort,
Reassurance and is stable

The food of life, is served here
Nourishment, for the soul
It builds a heart that is strong
And makes a body whole

The door is never closed, at the top
We don't even need to knock
He is attentive to every word we say
All we have to do is talk

His home is so vast
Just look up......
To heaven, your eyes raise
Unto our Great and Wonderful God
Offer to Him, heartfelt praise

I ask myself......
Did I say, "Thank You" today
Did I say, "I'm Sorry"
And....
"Forgive Me Please"
Did I humble myself
Did I fall down upon my knees

Did I start my day off right
And do as I'm supposed to
Did I pray today, Heavenly Father
Did I remember, and speak to you

As I bow my head
To His entrance, I'll climb
This Heavenly Staircase
One step at a time

Right to the top
To His doorway
And speak what's inside my heart
I begin to pray

The distance
To our Heavenly Father's Home
Is as close as a prayer
And don't worry ....
He is always there

Have A Wonderful Day, Dear One
And May You Receive
Showers of Blessings!
