I found the heart, I thought I lost
No, not the love of someone else
The heart I found, was mine alone
A deeper meaning of myself

I found the worth, I thought I tossed
No, not the price of golden treasure
The worth I found, was more valuable
Only a soul can measure

If trouble is around you, friend
You must step back, and take a look
For, one can forget, who they are
An unsettled conscience, is like a crook

It steals away our happiness
It eats away our heart
Setting things right again
Is always a good place to start

Then I found my voice, softer spoken
Words seasoned with love, a sweeter sound
I rediscovered these things, forgotten
It was myself, I found
