When the waves of death compassed me,
the floods of ungodly men made me afraid;
In my distress I called upon the LORD,
and cried to my God:
and he did hear my voice out of his temple,
and my cry did enter into his ears.
He reached down from on high
and took hold of me;
he drew me out of deep waters.

~2 Samuel 22: 5, 7, 17~

Tossed about, in life's storms
Faith, will gird up my sails
The sea, unkind and treacherous
But trust in the LORD prevails

My ship is built, not of doubt
But of knowing and understanding
Days of thunder .....
Your violent gales, demanding

Constant lashes, like a hurricane
Blowing, to rip my sails to shreds
You will not succeed ....
Trust, Faith and Hope weave together
these threads

And to me, he offers, gentle breeze
Tis the LORD'S breath, blowing
That conquers the gust of rampant storms
And keeps me going

Unfurl your sails, Dear One
Catch the breath of the LORD
And May His Blessings
Keep your life, Sure and Steady!

Have A Wonderful Day!!
