I look outside my window
And see the words to write
The cool breeze blows and whispers
Creation fills my sight

The tide calls out
Waves tenderly kiss the land
Clouds draw a picture in the sky
There is a story, in a grain of sand

The feathered creature sings his song
Into my heart it goes
Blending with my spirit, deep
Flow the words, rhyme and prose



Flowers dance to and fro
And curtsy with the wind
Wonderful thoughts fill my mind
Verses without end

I visualize words, in this picture
As out my window, I look
Yes, I transpose, what I see
But the Lord has written the book

Have a wonderful day, dear one
Surrounded with peaceful inspiration
Write a verse, within your heart
There's poetry in God's creation
