Sunshine and roses
Morning brings the dew
Pen writes on paper
Harmony, by two

Song played on a piano
Winter day, fresh new snow
Happiness and laughter
Together these things go

Tenderness with understanding
Hug with gentle kiss
A heart without love
Would truly be amiss

What's rain without the rainbow
Or stars without the night
The year without the seasons
Or beauty, without sight

A flower with its fragrance
Poetry with its rhyme
A tender touch to feel
A life, with still more time

One completes the other
The same with you and me
Heart and soul, joined together
In perfect harmony
