Such a short word
But, it leaves a big empty place
A part of you, feels gone
Tears on your face

We search a room
And find only despair
Because we have lost someone, dear
They are no longer there

Not there before our eyes
Oh, the ache
The emptiness
It's such a heartbreak

But, if we remember ....
If we keep the happy memories
In time ....
The pain will ease

No one really goes away
When they have become a part
Of your life ......
Of your heart

Your tears

Your sadness
