I have two cats and a bird
An interesting combination
How can you keep peace
with this little group
When it's quite obviously, temptation

But peaceful they are
without a doubt
I can even open the cage
and let Little Bird out

The cats are sitting on the floor
Little Bird flies down
and picks at the fur on their toes
Little Cat nudges him
with the tip of her nose

Now I'm watching this, you can be sure
Not about to leave the room
For I know, if nature takes it's course
I would be tempting, Little Bird's doom

Little Bird hoppin' around
on the rug
Acting high and mighty
and oh, so very smug

Little does he realize the cats
are watchin' me, and you know why
If I were not there
Feathers would fly

It's a lesson, to be sure
Oh, how good we all can be
But, the trouble we can get into
If we think no one can see

:-)

HAVE A GREAT DAY
AND
SMILE!!

P.S. We have had many pets
through the years
and they lived together
in peace, never harming
one another in any way.
But, oh my, were they entertaining!
