While sitting inside the warmth, of our home
A treasure, is tumbling down outside, glowing
The LORD has opened His jewel box
And spills it all about, flowing
Rubies, emeralds and topaz
Mixed in with threads of gold
Weaving a rich brocade, around the earth
As the blanket of Autumn, begins to unfold
This season has its own beauty
As leaves fall so tender
Earth offers, the last of her bounty
Then goes to sleep, in splendor
