Philly Cheesesteak Sandwiches
MAKES 4 SERVINGS. HALF RECIPE FOR 2 SERVINGS.
2 tbs oil
2 onions, sliced
Salt and Pepper
1 1/2 pounds sirloin steak
4 oz sliced American cheese
4 hoagie rolls, warmed, split
Heat 1 tbs oil in a skillet.
Add onions, season with salt and pepper,
cook until golden brown and tender, transfer to a bowl.
Heat remaining oil in skillet.
Season steak with salt and pepper,
cook until browned and cooked through.
Lay cheese over steak, cook until cheese melts.
Remove from heat, fold cheese into steak.
Form sandwiches with rolls, steak mixture and onions.
