I picked a perfect rose
From a garden, grand
Velvet, were the petals
As I touched it, with my hand

And within the glory of this rose
It held my fascination
My eyes were opened, as I saw
The beauty of creation

Kept fresh, it was, through the night
Sprinkled lightly, with morn's early dew
I cannot keep it for myself
I'll share with you

Here is the rose I picked
It's perfect in every way
It reminded me of our beautiful friendship
We share, day after day!
