There is a special person
That came across my path
Charming, and so gentle
Making my spirit laugh

I thought that joy, had left me
Filled with tears and strife
This special person said ....
"That's not your lot in life"

"For happiness belongs to everyone
Let no one, take it from you"
Showing me with little steps
How to start my life anew

You know who the person is
I speak with them all the time
YOU are that Special Person
Wonderful, Friend of Mine
