I see a yard of dandelions
With all that fluff blowing around
Oh No .... I think to myself
A bunch of weeds are planting in the ground

But when I was a little kid
I saw flowers for a bouquet
To pick for my mother
On a sunny summer's day

I'd pick each one with so much care
And ask Mom for a vase
She would get one and fill it with water
When she saw the big smile on my face

Then when dandelions turned into fluff
I didn't see more weeds
I saw wishes to blow
With all those dandelion seeds

Floating around in the air
Bunches of wishes to make
I think we need to see flowers not weeds
Just for sanity sake

Go outside and pick some dandelions
You've been an adult long enough
Let the neighbors think what they want
When they see you blowing dandelion fluff!!
