Each of us has a double, so it has been said
To find that person, and call them friend
Is remarkable indeed
Alike in so many ways
But just different enough
to challenge one another, in our thinking....
This is a gift
We see eye to eye
on so many important things
Yet, we can have a discussion or a disagreement
And still give each other a hug and a smile
before we have to leave
We are individuals, with a bond of friendship,
