Just as the ol' cuckoo clock struck
ten I was feelin' like a real sleepy
head
I knew it was time for me To go off
to bed
|
|
|
Then I noticed the old cat staring at
the moon I wondered, what's on his
mind
He moved not a muscle, "How
strange," I thought What was he hoping to
find
|
And then, with a twinkle in
his eye he looked right at me And began to
say ....
"I heard some very good
news Just the other
day"
|
|
|
"Someone told me the moon's
made of cheese I was thinking, oh boy, how
nice
If I sit here and watch long
enough I'll surely see some mice!!"
|
I kid you not, that's what he
said Whilst sitting there in the nighttime
breeze
And if you believe that, then I
bet You ALSO think the moon is made of
cheese!!
|
|
So that's your little beddy-bye
story Before you go nighty, night
I'll
see you tomorrow, same place, right here Good
Night Now, Sleep Tight!
