Gather up starlight
Choose a few moonbeams
Lost in imagination
In Fairy Tale dreams
Just before you close your eyes
Think of a place far away
Not a place, here on earth
But, where little fairies play
Is there really somewhere like this
Take a dreamer's leap
It's okay to go there
Tis only while you sleep
If you think it, you can dream it
You know that you will find
Slumber's treasures
in the world of escape
At rest, within your mind
It's said before a time or two
The young are a bit naive
But, remember this, dear friend of mine
The old stay young because they believe
Good Night, Sleep Tight
In the land of a child's mentality
The morning will be here soon enough
And then it's back, to reality
