On the tide, from heaven to earth
The midnight sun, glowing
A sky filled up, with diamonds
Treasures of wishes, flowing

A dreamer's boat awaits
To sail, to the Land of Nod
"Step aboard, sleepy person"
Heavy eyelids, begin to prod

And a note, I send, this eve
As day gives way, to soft twilight
Rest, Dear One, Dream Sweetly
Good Night, I say, Sleep Tight!
