What is that shadow, in the night
That travels through my dream
Past the twilight, into dark
Phantom figure, cast by stars gleam

Tis not a fearful image
But sweet and quiet, to the mind
Taking away days worries
As if to become entwined

Lighten wings quicken
Then scurry off, past darken sky
To sleep now, rest is welcome
As I slumber, with soothing sigh

These wings will fly
Though your dreams tonight
And carry away all your worry
Sleep Well, Dear One, Sleep Tight
