What goes on there
Up in the sky
I thought I just saw
A star go flying by

Another and another
And there goes one more
I never saw so many stars
Sail across the sky, before

Are they held up with a string
And the string broke
I ask you .....
Now, this is no joke

Are they hung up on the dark
With nails
And sometimes a star slips off
Then through the sky it sails

Do you have an answer?
Tell me please
Just why .... Do stars fly
Across the sky?

Or ....
Could someone be up there
Playing a little game?
Well, who knows
It's a mystery that shall remain!

So, Good Night, Dear One
As you drift into dreams, yonder
That's a little question, tonight
You can ponder

Let Me Know, Your Answer, Tomorrow!
I'll Be Right Here At Daylight!
