I almost gave in
I almost lost
This day almost got to me
Into the air, my hands, I tossed

Almost walked away
Almost cried
Almost threw caution into the wind
Happiness, I almost denied

Almost ......



Then I heard a whisper
Into my ear .....
"Don't you ever give up
I'm right here"

I felt a brush of love
Against my face
Wings wrapped around me
In a warm embrace



At that point I knew .....
Because I was shown
I was not here with my battles
Fighting, all alone

True, things can get tough
Hard, for that matter
Life is not served
On a silver platter



I know this, for sure
I'm no where near perfection
But, did an angel give a little nudge
In the right direction?

I think it, true
For the strength, was not my own
But by the grace of our Father
From His Heavenly Throne



So, my dear friend
Do you have "Almost" Days too?
Then, ask our God
To send an angel to you

For help is with us
Every, single day ....
God is listening .....
