Yes, just before the dawn
I drift upon my thoughts
My feelings and I, become one
Waiting with anticipation
Of a new day about to begin
I thank God, for all He's done
I pray to Him
I watch the sun come up
It's like His understanding eye
Looking down on me
Just God and I
A soft breeze He sends
My thoughts drift along
He's letting me know He's there
Giving me the courage to be strong
A moment like no other

The sun finally reaches above the horizon
The rays come down and touch me .....
