Dear Father in Heaven
You must have a plan
Is it something you knew of
Since time began
There are tears in my eyes
And things I wonder about
Why do people get sick
The ones I don't want to be without
And so many I have lost
Because mankind is trapped in sin
Do I dare hope, Dear Father
To ever see them again
I fall down on my knees
Day after day
Do you hear my words
As I look to You, and pray

When all mankind might see
Where love, will rule the earth
With peace, and unity
I will not be a judge of anyone
But, I do ask, of thee
Why do the good suffer.....
Is that really too bold, of me
I may ask, many questions

Love, for you, fills my heart
I look to you, for understanding
And righteousness, I intend to keep
Please, take care of us
As your Son, shepherds his sheep
