Dear Father in Heaven
You must have a plan
Is it something you knew of
Since time began

There are tears in my eyes
And things I wonder about
Why do people get sick
The ones I don't want to be without

And so many I have lost
Because mankind is trapped in sin
Do I dare hope, Dear Father
To ever see them again

I fall down on my knees
Day after day
Do you hear my words
As I look to You and pray

Will there come a time
When all mankind might see
Where love will rule the earth
With peace and unity

You do know, My Dear Father
From you, I'll never part
Even though I have these questions
Love fills my heart

I will not be a judge of anyone
But I do ask, of thee
Why the good suffer.....
Is that really too bold of me

I look to you, for understanding
And righteousness I intend to keep
Please take care of us all
As your Son shepherds his sheep

And perhaps one day, Dear Father
We will understand it all
These questions you will answer
When you send out your call
