At last......
Did I get it right this time
I played the notes to a love song
All through the years
It came out, so wrong

I tried to fine-tune
Each and every time
In all my discouragement
I decided love was not meant
To be mine

I would not look again
Love notes are too hard
To get right
I'll just give in....
To lonely days
And lonely nights

I was not looking
Then.....
You came along
There you were with all the notes
To a perfect love song

You told me of your love notes
You had stopped looking too
Because love songs were not
Meant for you

Here we are listening
To the most beautiful music
As it fills the air
Love notes so perfect now
When I see you standing there

Two hearts harmonize, not missing a beat
Same notes, same song
You and I were meant to be ...
Together, all along
