Some people don't like used items
They'll refuse, with long-faced frowns
How dare you even mention
To give them 'Hand-me-downs'

It could be something you've had forever
Anyone can wear it
Won't shrink in the wash or get too small
You can't outgrow or tear it

It comes in many colors
And lots of sizes too
One person can have so many
They might want to give some to you

The one's that refuse hand-me-downs
Are usually not much fun
They need this more than anybody else
Even if they take just one

Well, I have lots that I want to share
It will never go out of style
Here, try one on ......
Of course, it's a SMILE!!

:-)
