When you do the laundry
then hang it out to dry
Here comes gray clouds
rain falling from the sky
You finally get that last bill
paid and sent
Here comes more bills
You haven't made a dent
A great sale, you've been waiting for
But find out, to your dismay
You looked at the wrong date
The sale ended yesterday
It's Murphy's Law I tell ya
Irritating things of that sort
Like the saying goes
You're a day late and a dollar short
Well, I've got the solution
to Murphy's little trap
Just forget about it all
Go take a little nap!!
