Remembering summers, past
Never wanting them, coming to end
Wishing they would last and last

But now, it's time for fun again
Excited, eager anticipation
A summer filled with family and friends
Picnics, time for vacation



Running through green meadows
Beaches, walks in the park
Sunday drives past this and that
Catch fireflies after dark
