Day in and day out
Hours passing by
Clouds making ever changing pictures
Up in Summer's sky

Some days it rains
Some days it's hot
Foggy haze, sometimes there
Sometimes, not

Dew drops in the morn
Blanket of dew in the night
Summer days, long
With sunray's light

Nothing stays the same
Time comes and goes
But, in this forever changing world
You can always count on
The Beauty of the Summer Rose

And something else
I can count on too
Year in and year out
Having a Wonderful Friend
Just Like You

You're my Summer Rose ....
