Down from heaven, floating
Snowflakes from the sky
Little tiny pieces of lace
Swirl as they fly by

Crystal Lace, if you will
Delicate and white
Like silk threads weaved together
Shimmers in rays of light

On the ground and mountain top
Covering every tree
Fresh fallen winter snow
As far as my eyes can see

Earth now, needs to rest
Beneath the delicate snowfall
